5 simple ways to add intention to your kitchen
There are many ways to hold more intentional power in your household. The most effective place to start?
The kitchen.
Always the kitchen.
This is the space where nourishment is chosen, energy is exchanged, and habits are built daily. And yes, you are fully allowed to refuse any energy that enters it. No explanations. No apologies. You get to replace it with your own command.
When I say command, I mean your word.
The tone of your voice.
The rhythm and cadence of how you speak.
The clarity of intention behind what you say.
All of that together creates your command power.
At Purple Peaches, we call this the Peach Power.
Not a vibe.
Not a trend.
A locked-and-loaded ancient energetic tool you use to protect, re-align, and intentionally direct the energetics your home holds. Because the energy in your space should answer to you—not the other way around.
So, here are 5 quick and easy ways to hold more intentional power in your kitchen RIGHT NOW:
Dress up your kitchen with high frequency colors.
Sunshine yellows, plush purples, ruby reds, giddy pinks, playful peaches and oranges. All of these color frequencies have the instant ability to support your intentional creations.
Whether you prefer to paint your walls, or add in a few vibrant pieces of artwork to them, you will absolutely benefit from the high vibe intention surrounding your kitchen.
2. Keep a house plant or herb garden somewhere in your kitchen.
Keeping living organisms in the space where you create your meals enhances the intentional power of your command.
With intentional cooking, we breath life into our ingredients. Without this these ingredients, and the dishes built from them, remain on energetic life support.

3. Boil citrus fruits 2-3 times per month.
Boiling sliced lemons, limes and grapefruits purify the air in your edible creation space.
These intentional fruits hold alchemical power to “cancel, clear, delete” any and all tension that lingers in the air.
Tension held from stressful conversations, awkward dinners or repressed feelings.
Disagreements on certain ingredients, dishes and cooking processes can linger long after the meal has been consumed.
So, take some time 2-3 times a month to slice up a citrus fruit or 2, set an intention for clarity and clear the air of your beloved cucina.
4. Burn incense weekly (if not daily.)
The burning of incense helps to cleanse the air and balance the energetics of the room. Unlike boiling citrus, incense affects the chakra body of each individual person, pet or plant working in or around the kitchen. Freshen up your flavor lab with this ancient practice.
5. Mop your floors with hot rosemary or thyme water bi-weekly.
Working the essence of rosemary (or thyme) into the kitchen floor is a powerful way to protect your space. I know this may sound counterproductive with all the swiffers and robots in our world but we do this to hold more power, not for convenience. Your kitchen will smell of a bright yet earthy essence that supports your morning coffee, tea or smoothie. You’re welcome. 😁
