Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 17, 2026

Purple Peaches Bake Shop ("Purple Peaches," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website, shop with us, or subscribe to our newsletter, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using our website, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

We collect information in three ways:

  • Information you give us. Your name, email address, and any message content when you subscribe to our newsletter or submit our contact form; and your name, shipping/billing address, and contact details when you place an order.
  • Payment information. Orders are processed by our commerce provider. We do not collect or store your full payment card details on our servers — they are handled directly by the payment processor.
  • Information collected automatically. Basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and referring pages, gathered through cookies and similar technologies to keep the site secure and understand how it is used.

How we use your information

  • To send you newsletters, recipes, and updates you have subscribed to.
  • To process, fulfill, and provide support for your orders.
  • To respond to your enquiries and collaboration requests.
  • To protect our website and forms from spam, abuse, and fraud.
  • To operate, maintain, and improve our website.
  • To comply with our legal obligations.

Bot & spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)

To protect our newsletter and contact forms from automated abuse and spam, we use Cloudflare Turnstile. When you interact with a protected form, Turnstile may collect information about your browser, device, and interaction in order to confirm you are a human. This processing is carried out by Cloudflare, Inc. and is governed by the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into this policy by reference. Please review it to understand how Cloudflare handles data collected through Turnstile.

Third-party services we use

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run our website and services. Each processes data only as needed to provide their service and under their own privacy terms:

  • Cloudflare — bot/spam protection for our forms (see above).
  • Mailchimp (Intuit) — to store newsletter subscribers and send our emails.
  • Shopify — to power our shop and process orders and payments.
  • Vercel — website hosting and delivery.

We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies

Our website and the services above use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember your cart and preferences, secure our forms, and understand site usage. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work properly without them.

Email & your choices

We send marketing emails only to people who have subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email, or by contacting us. We use single opt-in: subscribing adds you directly to our list without a separate confirmation email.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at marketing@purplepeaches.co. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.

Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as needed to provide our services and for legitimate business or legal purposes. Newsletter data is retained until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it; order records are kept as required for tax and accounting purposes.

Children's privacy

Our website is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes may be highlighted on this page.
